Part-Time Developer for Hybrid App Deployment (React, Capacitor/Ionic)

Immersio Learning Inc. is an Edtech company dedicated to empowering language schools to create interactive courses online and facilitate tutoring sessions at scale. We are looking for a skilled part-time developer to join our team and help us wrap our existing React web app using Capacitor or Ionic for deployment on the App Store and Play Store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wrap Existing Web Application: Use Ionic to wrap our current education web application, ensuring a seamless transition from web to mobile platforms without losing any functionality.
• Onboarding Page Development: Create an intuitive onboarding page for new mobile users. This page should allow users to easily find their school and login. The onboarding process should be user-friendly and secure.
• Login Data Management: Implement a robust system to save user login data securely. Ensure that future logins are handled efficiently, maintaining user session integrity and security.
• Deployment: Successfully deploy the final mobile app to both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Handle all aspects of the deployment process, including meeting all platform-specific requirements and guidelines.
• Collaborate with our front-end development team to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Provide documentation and guidance on maintaining the deployed apps.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Ionic and Web App development.
• Experience with Capacitor and/or Ionic for building hybrid mobile apps.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues related to mobile app performance and compatibility.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and related web technologies.
• Experience with user authentication and data security.
• Familiarity with deployment processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with our development team. Ability to converse in English is a strong advantage.
