Immersio is the SAAS platform for blended language learning that supports both online and in-class learning. Our platform is strongly integrated with AI. We are developing rich adaptive learning technology. We are based in both Canada and Vietnam.We’re looking for a driven and versatile Business Development Executive to spearhead our go-to-market strategy and drive early customer acquisition. This is a critical role in our startup, requiring a hands-on individual with a passion for building something from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales initiatives, from lead nurturing to closing deals. This role offers significant growth potential as the company scales.

Key Responsibility

Planning:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities aimed at achieving sales targets.
  • Develop a personalized sales strategy, including quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans, focusing on potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential clients.

Execution:

  • Research and craft effective approach strategies for each key client, ensuring a tailored and impactful outreach.
  • Gather market, demand, and competitor intelligence through daily interactions to enhance strategic approaches and share insights with internal teams (e.g., Product, Account Management).
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal creation, presentations, and closing negotiations, aligning with company objectives.

Customer Service and Post-Sales Support:

  • Ensure seamless post-sales service to clients, acting as a point of contact for any questions or issues that may arise.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to provide ongoing support and ensure clients are satisfied with the products and services.

Program Optimization:

  • Provide constructive feedback to managers and directors to continually improve the business development process.
  • Assist in creating and refining sales materials, such as sales scripts, email templates, and communication workflows.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of proven sales experience in a professional B2B environment.
  • Experience in the digital marketing agency field or working with SMEs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital media and related industries is an advantage.
  • A client-first approach, dedicated to providing outstanding service.
  • Strong problem-solving and research capabilities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion, analytical, and management skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, with a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Proficient in analytical thinking and presenting ideas, with a solid understanding of business and marketing dynamics.
