We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and Nest.js to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end infrastructure of our language learning app SAAS platform, including the APIs and data models. You will work closely with our team of Full Stack Developers, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure that our platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the application’s back-end infrastructure using Node.js and Nest.js
- Build RESTful APIs that are optimized for performance and scalability
- Work with databases like PostgreSQL to create data models that are efficient and secure
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers and Designers to ensure seamless integration of the back-end and front-end
- Ensure that the application is highly scalable and able to handle high traffic
- Ensure the quality and reliability of the application through automated testing and code reviews
- Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise in production
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and Nest.js
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and best practices for designing and implementing them
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
