Immersio is dedicated to enabling language learning for all. Partnering with indigenous communities, we invite Indigenous Representatives to join our transformative Partnership Program. Together, we’ll use advanced technology to revitalize and preserve Indigenous languages. Through this program, we secure funding to pave the way for language and cultural revitalization.
We first embark on a collaborative journey to turn rich, cultural knowledge provided by Indigenous elders into usable teaching content and communal resources through our proprietary teaching method known as IMCI® (Immersive Multimodal Comprehensible Input).
Our expert Text2Talk service will then transform shared content and resources into interactive and engaging audio, video, and other media formats, which we will incorporate into the community’s Immersio platform site to share as they see fit, locally and/or globally.
Our exclusive Tutor Match service empowers Indigenous elders and language holders to become available and esteemed instructors, generously sharing their language knowledge and wisdom through 1-on-1 tutoring with eager learners in their communities or elsewhere.
We are dedicated to nurturing meaningful partnerships that create a positive, restorative impact. Immersio’s technology and tools proudly support Indigenous communities to celebrate diversity and foster making a world where every language thrives.
We welcome Indigenous individuals to join us as dedicated personnel, ensuring their voices are at the forefront of discussions and decisions made for their communities.
Together, we curate and create meaningful content for language courses that honour and celebrate the richness of your heritage.
Our flexible technical support and training ensure the smooth and fruitful implementation of language preservation and revitalization initiatives.
Our social impact vision is in line with specific fields of 3 UNITED NATIONS Sustainable Development Goals around “inclusion of all”, preserving cultural and natural heritage, and spreading shared knowledge.
UN SDG Goal 10.2 “By 2030, empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status”.
UN SDG Goal 11.4 “Total per capita expenditure on the preservation, protection and conservation of all cultural and natural heritage, by source of funding (public, private), type of heritage (cultural, natural) and level of government (national, regional, and local/municipal”
UN SDG Goal 17.16 “Enhance the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in all countries, in particular developing countries”
